The Ohio EPA requires all public water supplies to have a backflow prevention program. OEPA considers a well, cistern, or pond as an auxiliary water supply and as such, it is considered a potential contamination source. For our Customers: Regulations on Cross Connection Control Backflow Prevention Guidelines You may also find more on cross connection on the OEPA website. For Backflow Testers: Individuals who hold a Department of Commerce Backflow Tester Certificate may become qualified to test backflow devices on our system. Schedule an appointment with our Backflow Program Coordinator and sign our backflow tester's agreement. Downloads: Backflow Testing Rules & Regulations Auxiliary Water System Survey Form
