If our meter readers detect above average usage for a billing period you will receive a doorknocker informing you of the higher than normal usage.

Of all leaks, 90% occur in the toilet. Sometimes these leaks can be intermittent and can be extremely difficult to detect. The easiest way to detect a toilet leak is to pick up a free leak detection kit at our office. The kit contains dye tablets and instructions on how to use them.  If you need assistance in determining what the problem may be, please feel free to contact our office during business hours.

Toilets are the single biggest water consumer in the household accounting for 40 - 45% of the water use. Leaks usually occur in toilet tanks where water either drains over the overflow or past the plunger ball. Leaks in toilets can double or triple overall water consumption each month often while going undetected.

Did you know that a dripping faucet can waste 20 gallons a day? These leaks waste your water and your money.

Size of Leak  Water Wasted Each Quarter
(Assuming 60 lbs. of pressure)
1/32" drip 18,500 gallons
1/16" trickle 74,000 gallons
1/8" stream 296,000 gallons
1/4" stream 1,181,000 gallons
