The District’s water system currently consists of 198 miles of water mains, one water treatment facility, 4 booster stations and 10 water storage facilities. Water Treatment Plant #1 has a capacity of 2,000,000 gallons per day. Water Treatment Plant #2, scheduled to be completed in 2010, will provide an additional 1,000,000 gallons per day of capacity.

The District's wastewater system consists of 9 miles of sewer mains and two wastewater treatment plants, each with a capacity of 150,000 gallons per day.

The District is governed by a five-member board of trustees. Trustees are elected to a three year term by customers of the District at the April board meeting.  The board of trustees is charged by statute with the duty of adopting rules and regulations for the governance of the District.

The trustees hold regular meetings on the second Thursday of each month; meetings begin at 7:00 P.M. Special meetings are occasionally called to deal with specific issues; the times and dates of special meetings vary and are announced at the time the meeting is scheduled. All meetings are open to the public and are held at the District’s office unless otherwise announced.
