The System
Earnhart Hill Regional Water & Sewer District is a political subdivision of the state of Ohio organized under Chapter 6119 of the Ohio Revised Code. The district serves safe drinking water to more than 3300 customer connections within its service area, which primarily includes Pickaway County, Ohio, but also includes parts of Fairfield County, Ohio.

The district's water system currently consists of 198 miles of water mains, one water-treatment facility, 4 booster stations, and 10 water-storage facilities. the water-treatment plant has a capacity of 2,000,000 gallons per day.

The district's wastewater system consists of 15 miles of sewer mains and three wastewater treatment plants, each with a capacity of 150,000 gallons per day.

           Board Of Trustees

The district is governed by a five-member board of trustees. At the annual April board meeting, customers in the district elect trustees to three-year terms. The board of trustees is charged by statute with the duty of adopting rules and regulations for the governance of the district.

The trustees hold regular meetings on the second Thursday of each month; meetings begin at 7:00 P.M. Special meetings are occasionally called to deal with specific issues; the times and dates of special meetings vary and are announced to the public. All meetings are open to the public; all meetings are held at the district's office unless otherwise announced.
